If I don’t agree with what the insurance company is paying for, can I dispute it?

Answer:

Absolutely. Human errors occur in health insurance both by the provider’s office and at the health insurance company. If a charge on a claim doesn’t seem correct to you, please don’t hesitate to ask. We recommend talking to the provider’s office first and asking what each particular charge is for. The next step is speaking to member services at the health insurance company (the phone number on your ID card).
